Hanna's House is a foster care organization dedicated to providing safe, nurturing environments for children in the foster care system. As a pro bono digital marketing advisor, I helped the organization build a sustainable digital presence to amplify their mission and grow donor support.
The Challenge
The organization had a strong community impact but limited digital visibility. Donor acquisition was largely word-of-mouth, and the website lacked the structure to convert visitors into recurring supporters.

Donor Email Program
Built an email nurture sequence that educated new subscribers about the mission, shared family impact stories, and drove recurring donations.
Social Media Strategy
Developed a content calendar focused on authentic storytelling — spotlighting staff, volunteer moments, and child milestones (with appropriate privacy protections).
Results
Organic traffic tripled within six months. Donor retention improved significantly as email engagement increased. The organization gained meaningful visibility in local search for foster care resources.
