Overview

Education Futures Group operates Vista College, an accredited online institution. Over 8 years, I led the complete digital marketing transformation of the brand — growing it from a small regional school to a nationally recognized online institution.

Starting Point

When I joined, the website was outdated, organic traffic was minimal, and student enrollment stood at around 500. Paid channels were the primary acquisition method but were inefficient and expensive. The brand had virtually no organic presence.

Built a comprehensive SEO and content strategy from scratch. This included:

Website Redesign — 2x Conversions Overnight

Led the complete redesign of vistacollege.edu using WordPress, focused on user experience, conversion optimization, and messaging clarity. The new site doubled conversions on the day it launched. Within 2 years, conversions tripled.

HubSpot Integration

Integrated HubSpot CRM with the website to create a full marketing automation and lead nurturing system. This enabled proper attribution, lifecycle marketing, and personalized follow-up sequences that improved enrollment rates.

Combined organic growth, paid media efficiency, and conversion rate optimization drove enrollment from approximately 500 students to over 6,000+ — a 12x increase over the engagement period.

Pandemic Performance

In 2020–2021, despite a 25% reduction in paid media budgets due to the pandemic, organic traffic continued to grow at 70% year-over-year. This proved the durability of the SEO foundation built over the previous years.
