What is the SU7 Ultra's Nürburgring lap time?
The road car's official time is 7:04.957 verified, driven by Vincent Radermecker on April 1, 2025 and announced on June 11. It set the record for electric executive cars, timed with a notary present and the car checked by TÜV Rheinland (Nürburgring). It wasn't a bare showroom car: Xiaomi says it carried the Track Professional package, the carbon dual-duct hood, an aero underbody panel and Ring-approved safety parts (Xiaomi).
The stripped SU7 Ultra Prototype, on slicks with no interior, ran 6:46.874 claimed with David Pittard in October 2024, then 6:22.091 verified the same day as the road car's lap, the fastest official lap of 2025 in any class (Nürburgring). Lei Jun wrote that "this record will be broken again in the near future" (CnEVPost). It was, in its class: a Manthey-kitted Porsche Taycan Turbo GT ran 6:55.533 in May 2026 (Nürburgring).
