These are illustrative races using the supplied comparison figures, not measured head-to-head results. Claims, independently timed runs, converted figures and estimates use different surfaces, tires and rollout conventions. The Roadster's 0.81 s is a reveal-demo claim; its quarter mile is an estimate. The U9 Xtreme's 2.28 s to 60 mph is the standard U9's claim of 2.36 s to 100 km/h, converted; BYD has published no acceleration figure for the Xtreme, which is probably a little quicker. Its 8.4 s quarter mile is a simulation assumption, not a manufacturer figure. Tesla's over-250-mph target applied to its earlier Roadster concept; the current Roadster page does not restate it. The McMurtry row pairs the PURE claim with a prototype's 400 m run, so it is not a verified PURE result. McLaren publishes 2.7 s to 60 mph; the supplied 2.61 s converted figure remains in this comparison.

The animation uses constant acceleration to 60 mph. The quarter-mile race fits a finite acceleration ramp and cruise segment to each car's time, distance and trap speed. It does not model tire slip, shifts, drag or reaction time. Average launch pull is calculated, not measured. Car lengths are visual approximations. The cars use generated 3D models; the Top Fuel dragster represents a pre-2008 open-cockpit design. A simplified model is shown and labeled if a detailed asset cannot load.

The banana falls from 1.7 m in 0.59 s. Open the 2D version if this device cannot run 3D.
